Lee Roebuck: "In '75, I went over to New Zealand for their six-hour at Manfeild on a Yamaha-supplied RD350 and got into a big scrap with some bloke called Graeme Crosby and his Kawasaki 900. He’d get away from me on the straight and I’d catch him in the two bowls, but I eventually shot it down the road trying to stay with him. I quickly remounted and we won the 400cc class, and got fourth outright. I had chat with Croz after the race and told him that he should try his luck in Australia, which he did. We had a few hard races. I made him work hard a number of times – he was natural born rider and a bloody hard charger.”
